PROJECT OFFICER
INGE CLAESSENS
Inge is the project officer of the BIGDATPOL research project. She obtained an MSc in Political Science – international politics (Ghent University, 2010).
After working several years in an architecture firm, she worked as an events coordinator at the Faculty of Architecture (KULeuven in Ghent and Brussels). In 2023 she transferred to Ghent University for the organisation of an international Congress on social law.
After completing the congress, she joined the BIGDATPOL team as a project officer. She will support the researchers and focus on the administration and communication of the project.
“The goal is to develop a model that has been tested extensively in different European cities. We want to present a model that works within the European context and complies with European regulations, in five years’ time. Hopefully by then there will be interest from the rest of Europe to use the model in the field”.
